My son aged 15 attended a 1 week standard junior course, without accommdation. The week was a great success. I had had to persuade him to go on the course because he doesn’t like school and he doesn’t enjoy learning French at school, so he was adamant the last thing he wanted to do was go to a French school during his school holidays and study French! With much persuasion he agreed to give it a go, however I knew if he hated it on day one he would refuse to comply and attend any further lessons. Fortunately he said it was loads better than learning French in school. Although he found it very difficult and challenging he actually enjoyed every morning of lessons and by Thursday told me he’d like to come again for another week of lessons. His tutor for the week had been great. Booking the course was a gamble because it could have been a disaster and waste of my money if he hadn’t enjoyed the lessons but fortunately the week exceeded both mine and my sons expectations and I completely recommend Azurlingua. Each day I walked up in time to meet him at 12noon, I waited in the courtyard observing the surroundings and the small groups studying outside. I found the site has a lovely, calm relaxed atmosphere – a nice place to attend language lessons.
